Delta Files returned to three fishing communities to measure the distance between promise and practice.
When the remediation programme was announced, families in these communities were told the water would be fishable within a season.
Our team spent nine days in the creeks with local fishers, an environmental chemist and community leaders documenting what has changed and what has not.
